The Awards 

Selection Process:

Nominations for the awards are solicited from 
across Manitoba. The businesswoman must 
be either an equal partner, a 50% (or more)
shareholder, or sole owner in a business
registered and in operation in Manitoba for
a minimum of three consecutive years. She
must be a major decision-maker in that
business; it must be a full-time venture; and 
she must draw a sustainable income from 
that business. 

From the nominees received, the selection
Committee selects finalists, and subsequently
winners, in each of eight award categories.
Financial statements of each winner must
be made available to the Award auditors. 
PricewaterhouseCoopers, for due diligence.

Please note, it is not necessary to choose a 
category immediately. Nominees will have an
opportunity to choose their categories during
the nomination submission process.
