Dear Gladys and Steve; We would have done this in person however, we do not get to Winnipeg very  often so I decided to send you an email. I just wanted to say how pleased we  have been with from the start to the finish with not only your company but with all your employees that we have had the privilege to come into contact with.  We  especially have enjoyed spending time with Little Joe and Ryan and will miss them now that the sunroom has been completed. The two of you should be very proud of these two individuals. It is a rarity now a days to find people who take such pride in their work. We also could not get over how polite the two of them were not only to us but to our friends that dropped around during the construction, and how well they worked as a team. There are so many people including ourselves that would say you would never know this was a construction site because when they were finished everything was cleaned up right down to small pieces of wood and paper.  Our home was open to them because as the days went on the two of them became more like our extended family than workers. Once again the two of you should be proud of these two employees, and hope that you not only share this with them, but express your appreciation on how they represented your company. As for the sun - room it is lovely and we have been enjoying it more as everyday passes. I especially enjoy seeing a smile on my father's face as he is in it from morning to night, and how  he talks to people about it and how little Joe and Ryan were during the construction. My father is 88 and we go everyday to see my mother at the nursing home, she has dementia, so he hasn't had much to smile about these days but the sunroom has changed that and that means more to me than words can express.  Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to have had the privilege to get to know a company with true values, and we would not hesitate to recommend your company. We especially wanted to let you know how satisfied we were with the two tradesmen, Joe and Ryan, who worked on our sunroom. Dear Glastar Team: It has been such a pleasure working with the Glastar staff. From the day I reconnected with Gladys at the Home Expressions Show and shared with her the story of my mother trying to stop Arnie from constructing my first sunroom in 2001 to today.  It is apparent that all of the Staff are respectful, helpful and knowledgeable. Heather always connects you with the right person when you call. Gladys will trouble shoot and convey information to Steve. Steve always calls back. Steve I really appreciate the time you took to explain the building of the sunroom   platform, the regulations that need to be followed and, most importantly allowing your team of builders, re: Paul and Brad, to bring the platform up to code. I know the extra work consumed company time and I am grateful for this consideration. Your support and and understanding speak highly of the company. I am so grateful that your employees take such pride in their work and they wanted the opportunity to build the sunroom well from top to bottom. It was this level of workmanship with company support which brought such peace of mind. I knew the project was in good hands. As Paul stated, "Arnie trains you to do quality work every time!" Thank you to Roy for his initial contact and the gift of display hooks and to the  delivery men who took great care not to disturb the new landscaping and grass. Thanks to Brad for taking the call when Steve was busy and offering advise and solutions. As well Paul's daily phone contacts to let me know their work schedule ( rain, rain, rain ) kept me up to date about the construction timeline. Once the project is started you know your sunroom will be constructed but knowing about the presence or absence of the workers is so respectful.    Thank you for a Second sunroom constructed with such care and quality. Dear Steve and all the Staff, THANK YOU, for all the hard work and extra miles you have gone to give us a truly beautiful room! We Love It!! We've had people walking by stop and ask us "Who built your sunroom?" We are considering placing a big neon sign that says: "Built by Sunshade.. inquire within" in the window so we don't miss all those people who want to know but are too shy to ask. We have enjoyed 27 degrees in our 3-season room while it is 9 degrees outside! In fact, the other day our dog was panting while laying on the chaise lounge but there was no way she would move into the house where it was cooler. We've had so little sun this summer that she was going to stay and enjoy the weather in the sunroom! Can't say I blame her, as i was right there with her, basking in the warmth. It is like a mini tropical vacation. Thank you for looking after all the little details like the leak and the water between the vapor barrier and the floorboards. I have to commend Arnie and his co-worker ( sorry, his name escapes me right now ) for working so diligently to find the source of the leak and fixing all the little issues that arise in new construction.  They are a great team and we really enjoyed working with them. Thanks to Brad for looking after all our concerns and listening to our phone calls. Thanks to Roy for coming out and setting up the initial sketches, planning and all the "leg work". Thanks to you and Roy for putting up with our ever-so-noisy dog. She misses you both.  All this is to say we are VERY HAPPY with our new room and have enjoyed so  many fantastic hours in it already! We are decorating it for Christmas season today and are loving the fact we can use magnetic hooks to hang lights. How easy is that?!?  Thanks again. Steve and Staff,  Well, it's been a year and we can't thank you enough. We are enjoying our  sunroom more than we could have anticipated. We now have some great    furniture, carpeting, and even a small electric fireplace for those cool nights.  It's great to sit in there and still be in the great outdoors without the mosquitoes. To Sunshade Products, We want to thank you very much for our new sunroom. So far we have enjoyed it  everyday, even when the weather is lousy. We want to thank your men Paul and Kevin for their great work. They answered all of our questions as best as they could and were great to have around. We had quite a few good laughs.  I don't see us having any problems with our sunroom so I thank your people again for a wonderful job and will tell other people about this.  Mr. & Mrs. G. Steven Sarens and Gladys Sarens,  We just had the carpet installed in our new sunroom. Now we can move in  some furniture and start enjoying it. My wife and I wanted to mention how great it was to have Paul, Kevin and  Arnie ( helping out ) doing our sunroom. It was very evident the quality of    their work and the pride they have in doing it right. Communication from the guys was great and they kept us up to date on their progress which was changing almost daily because of the poor weather we experienced while the sunroom was being built. .. my dream has come true ..

Re: Enclosed Deck At last my dream has come true. The enclosed deck ( 12 x 10 ) and attached to the east entrance of our house was completed June , 1989. Since then we have as good as "lived" there. In fact, we had a noon lunch there February 28, 1990. ( of course the sun was shining ). We are well pleased  with the workmanship and would recommend an enclosed deck to any home owner considering one.  It definitely has enhanced our back yard. Your time of explanations and suggestions as to size and where to attach deck to our house helped in making a positive decision. ..we finally got exactly what we wanted.

 

Dear Steve and Gladys, You have done the impossible and extended the Manitoba summer season! That's what we think of our sunroom. It is wonderful to be able to sit "outside" in the warm sun while there is still snow on the ground. And it really does feel as if we are outside. I don't know how to account for this, for we are obviously in a room. I suppose it is the big, all-round view that does it. At any rate, it is great to be outside away from the bugs in summer and away from the cold in spring and fall. And to think that we thought we wanted a gazebo stuck in the middle of the  back yard! Thanks to your suggestions and careful designing, and patience while we fumbled through various ideas, we finally got exactly what we wanted. What has been perhaps most reassuring is the way you have given us prompt and friendly attention when we have unnecessarily panicked over small things like a little water coming through a weak bit of caulking. You have also come unbidden to check the system after these dry years have caused our house to shift in various directions. We are very grateful to have a sunroom with a "floatation system" that can be so easily adjusted. We have a warm feeling of confidence in our sunroom and the people who built if for us. Dear Gladys and Steve, It was nice to hear from you with your concerns about your customer's    satisfaction. Follow-up after four years is definitely commendable. I want you to know that we have been completely satisfied with both your    product and your after service. As you know, we made some changes after  the enclosure was installed on our cottage deck at Clearwater Bay, Ontario.  These changes were made at a time which was actually convenient for both  parties; Steve was very accommodating. We have had two visits from Steve  since. ( Maybe it's the location!)
