Although September is almost over, the temperatures were pretty nice this week, making it hard to believe Fall is here. Although the nice Spring weather allowed us an early start to the season, we had some exceptionally hot weather throughout the Summer. Although we’ve had few rain delays, the hot and extremely windy weather did slow our guys down at times, so I am hoping for a prolonged building season.
Although weather can negatively affect some businesses, it actually helps ours. Most homes built in the last fifteen to twenty years have a deck (or provisions for one) and with such unpredictable weather and short summers, many people end up stuck inside, wishing they could be outside. In addition, many of these decks are reaching their lifespans and require maintenance, repairs or replacement and a lot of people are looking for an alternative.
With a three season sunroom you have control over the elements, while still feeling like you're outside. With a three season sunroom, you will enjoy your deck for eight to ten months and sometimes even longer. Compare that to how many days a regular deck can be used and it becomes a great investment.
If you are considering a sunroom, there is no better time than now to do your homework. By booking this fall, not only will you be able to get a room next summer, but you will also lock in your pricing. Price increases usually occur in the Spring, as we replenish our stock.
