With the passing of September and the above average temperatures, it is hard to believe Fall is here. Weather wise, we had a pretty dry season with few rain delays, but some hot and extremely windy days did slow our guys down at times, so we are thankful for a prolonged building season.
Although weather can negatively affect some businesses, it actually stimulates ours. Most homes built in the last fifteen to twenty years have decks (or provisions for one) and with such unpredictable weather and short summers, many people end up stuck inside, wishing they could be outside. In addition, many of these decks are nearing the end of their lifespans and require maintenance, repairs, or replacement, which has people looking for alternatives.
With a three season sunroom, you control the elements, but still maintain the feeling of being outdoors! You will enjoy your deck at least eight to ten months, and more often than not, even longer. Compare that to how few days a regular deck is used and it becomes a great investment!
If you are considering a sunroom, now is the time to do your homework! Even if you are unable to have your room installed this Fall, you will guarantee your installation for early next spring, and avoid price increases, which often occur in the Spring, as we replenish our stock.
